KEYANDO . . .

… is a card game for people who are into true or well made up stories, surprising confessions, lie detecting, getting to know people real quick or marvelous things like angels, vampires, challenges, happiness, laughing and shouting in vivid discussions and much more exciting stuff.

The Keyando Cards

In all cultures of the world it holds equally true that there are two basic conditions that open the way to happiness: health and security. But beyond these two fundamental necessities, is there a universal formula for happiness that can be applied to all people of the earth? The answer is, “No!”—we all have our own, unique set of “keys to happiness”: the things and activities that contribute to our well-being and fulfillment. The reasons for this are simple. We all grow up in different families and environments, within diverse societies, cultures and historical backgrounds. Our unique experiences make us who we are; the situations and dramas we live through are never the same. Certainly we also have different genes and character traits that contribute to the complex whole of our personality—or we may simply find ourselves in different phases of our personal development.

Keyando is a card game that lets us talk about fun and serious things in a hilarious way. Based on the latest international studies on happiness the Keyando cards represent universal concepts of happiness like e.g. commitment, creativity, faith, friendship, love or winning.

Playing the game is fun and allows us to find out more about our own keys to happiness and what is important to other people. It is true both in the game and in real life—if we know our “cards” and how to play them skillfully, we will “win”.

With its simple rules the game easily takes on the flavors of our own character, playfulness, and thoughts. At the beginning all players get 5 cards and whoever plays all his cards first wins. The game gets more and more intense with each card you play because the fewer cards you have the more the co-players will probably try to work against you. Angel and vampire cards are jokers which may represent whatever you think of but they may also disrupt any game situation when things get to weird (Yes, that happens sometimes).

Keyando? The name Keyando consists of the worlds “key and do” and it is no coincidence that these concepts are influenced by philosophies of the Far East. Many keys of happiness were first discovered within these ancient cultural traditions. One interpretation of the Japanese word “Do” is “way,” as for example in the martial art Judo—“the flexible way,”—and Aikido—“the way of harmony.” Following this, Keyando is “The Way of Keys.”

Mission

Keyando has a clear mission—simply to increase fun and happiness. It is not about being the best, riches or most powerful. It’s about inspiration, touching others, commitment and making a difference.

For each sold box of Keyando we give away one box for free to schools or public libraries.

Schools and charity organizations can use Keyando for free. This will be made possible with every sale and of course with the help of donations and sponsors.
